Modon Holding P.S.C (“Modon Holding”), an Abu Dhabi based holding company, has declared its acquisition of 100% of La Zagaleta S.L, the company that manages the La Zagaleta luxury residential estate located in Benahavís. This transaction marks the Emirates group’s inaugural investment in the European luxury real estate sector and will enable La Zagaleta to embark on its forthcoming expansion phase, during which it aims to leverage the potential of its brand and expertise, as stated by the company’s current owners executive chairman, Ignacio Pérez. The financial details of the sale have not been revealed.
La Zagaleta, situated merely 20 minutes from Marbella, is recognized as one of the most prestigious residential estates in Europe. It spans 900 hectares and has the capacity for over 400 villas, each with its own private land. The estate features two golf courses, two private clubhouses for members, an equestrian center, a private heliport, and various sports facilities.
