Marbella: a renowned culinary destination with the best restaurants.
When it comes to choosing the best restaurants in Marbella, the offer is as diverse as it is spectacular. Every restaurant in Marbella offers something special, but some go beyond the food to offer a unique experience. One example is Dani Garcia, a restaurant named after its chef, a culinary visionary who has transformed the city’s food scene. The city boasts a selection of world-class restaurants, and each of these places offers something that can’t be found anywhere else:
Here are Marbella’s Best, TOP-RATED Trendy Restaurants, in our opinion:
– The Perfect Escape: El Patio Marbella Club.
The Marbella Club Hotel is home to the iconic meeting point and lounge venue “El Patio”. Surrounded by the fragrance of jasmine, you’ll find cozy nooks and lovely tables that invite you to spend as much time as possible. Whether grabbing a long coffee during the day, reading a good book in the afternoon, or catching up with friends over cocktails, El Patio is the perfect spot, and without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Marbella. The menu features a selection of salads, fresh fish, vegetables, and wood-fired pizzas for lunch.
Open from 11 am to 1 am; El Patio is located at Av. Bulevar Príncipe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, s/n, 29602 Marbella, Málaga.
– El Grill restaurant Marbella Club.
El Grill, the Marbella Club’s fine dining restaurant, boasts a typical Spanish decor, with the centerpiece being the large grill that gives it its name. Located in the middle of the room, it dominates the restaurant, emitting wonderful charcoal smells and creating a spectacle with its colorful flames disappearing up the flume, making the atmosphere feel cozy and tavern-like. The restaurant attracts both locals and hotel guests, and during mid-October, when we typically stay at the Marbella Club, the clientele is mainly comprised of locals. The Matradee and his team of waiters run a tight ship and are perfect hosts for diners.
The restaurant can be divided into two sections, each with its distinct cuisine. On the one hand, there are robust dishes cooked on the grill, ideal for those who appreciate the meat. It’s perfectly acceptable to order a steak and chips and accompany it with a delicious bottle of red. On the other hand, for those looking for a more sophisticated meal, El Grill provides classic dishes from various international cuisines, all crafted using the best locally-sourced ingredients. Definitely, one of the best restaurants in Marbella.
The menu at El Grill changes five times a year and always offers an array of tempting options. We find it difficult to resist the gastronomic menu, which promises to showcase the best dishes of the season. On our most recent visit, the menu did not disappoint. Each course was a delight from the deceptively simple cold tomato soup, bursting with flavor, to the exquisite Red Velvet Cake. The dishes were presented without unnecessary embellishments, allowing the taste to speak for itself. There are numerous standout dishes, such as the Tartar of Tuna, and the perfectly cooked Fillet of Sea Bass. However, if We had to choose a favorite, it would be the confit shoulder of lamb served with truffle puree, which was simply divine.
