Once a shining emblem of financial prosperity in the 1980s, the Arabic-inspired Aresbank building on Marbella’s Golden Mile is returning to life. Initially serving as a hub for Spanish‑Middle Eastern trade, it languished unused for decades—its stunning arches and geometric façades falling silent—until a visionary revival emerged in 2023.

A visionary partnership

Hospitality powerhouse Grupo Mosh—known for vibrant venues like Playa Padre and Momento—and acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Dani García have teamed up to reinvent Aresbank. Their ambition: a luxurious, multisensory entertainment venue blending fine dining and nightlife under one roof.

Respecting its legacy

Created by Estudio Oliver, Aresbank previously served as the headquarters for a Spanish-Arab financial organization. Its robust architecture, inspired by Arabic design, represented strength and stability, making it a well-known landmark along the Golden Mile.

Esteemed designer Lázaro Rosa‑Violán is leading the restoration, marrying the building’s original Arabic aesthetic with contemporary elegance. Think sweeping arches enhanced with warm woods, luxe lighting, and plush textures to create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.

A new social epicentre

With a planned €10 million investment and over 2,000 m² of space—including garden terraces, underground parking, and private event rooms—the project aims to generate more than 200 local jobs. It’s poised to become a cornerstone of Marbella’s luxury hospitality scene.

Cuisine meets experience

Dani García plans to introduce multiple culinary concepts within Aresbank—from elegant tasting menus to vibrant tapas bars and a stylish cocktail lounge. His vision is to challenge traditional Andalusian cuisine, fusing heritage with bold innovation.
